White Christmas

And I'm back! We had such a lovely Christmas in the mountains this year with my husband's family. The snow made it absolutely magical. Here is a photo of snowy Lake Junaluska on Christmas morning.

Snow is falling everywhere in Raleigh! Just a dusting, but I still want to jump up and down and yell "SNOW DAY!" And to all my friends in the Piedmont Triad and the mountains of North Carolina and Virginia, I hope you are enjoying the accumulating snow. Break out the sleds and take some pictures for me. Hope your weekend days are merry and bright!

Holiday Tablescape

And here they are! Some of the photos of the holiday tablescape which I created for Fox5o's Carolina Wedding Connect using a classic color palette of green and white. The green ribbon on the table was inspired by the wrapped gift boxes I love to receive from Pottery Barn, and the paperwhites not only smelled divine, but they are quintessential Christmas flowers. A huge thank you to Classic Party Rentals for allowing me to borrow their rental equipment for the shoot!

Happy Weekend!

Hooray for the weekend! I have three seasonal parties to attend including a tacky Christmas sweater party and two birthdays (one being my own!). And to top it all off, I will be enjoying a holiday candlelight tour in my historic neighborhood. It's the most wonderful time of the year!!
